*Official transcripts – transcripts from a college stamped with appropriate college seal and authentication. Hampton University will not accept unofficial transcripts for evaluation.
Only general education classes will be evaluated upon admission, all other transferable classes will be evaluated by the respective academic departments.
Transfer Student Admission Requirements: Anyone who has a high school diploma, an accredited state high school equivalency diploma, or international secondary education credentials equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma is eligible to apply to Hampton University. In order to be eligible for Federal Student Aid: You MUST have received a high school diploma or a General Education Development Certificate(GED). Completed a high school education in a home school setting approved under state law (or- if the state law does not require a homeschooled student to obtain a completion credential— completing a high school education in a home school setting that qualifies as an exemption from compulsory attendance requirements under state law), or pass an approved Ability-to-Benefit (ATB) test.
